While your silk flower baskets don't need water or sunlight, they will require
a small amount of care to maintain their beauty.
First of all, after receiving and unpacking your silk
flower baskets check to see if any settling or shifting has occurred during shipping. Small adjustments
may be necessary. Don't worry, though...silk flowers are very sturdy and won't break or fall apart easily, so you
can bend or twist the flowers gently without harming them.
After you have placed your arrangement, you should dust them
periodically. This can be done easily with a hairdryer set to medium or low.
Simply blow the dust off of your baskets! You can also use a can of compressed
air, which you will find at any electronics store
Direct sunlight over a period of time (several months or longer) will
cause the colors of the silk flowers to begin to fade. This can be avoided by
moving your arrangement every couple of months, or by rotating the placement of
the arrangement in relation to the direction of the sun.
That's about all there is to keeping your silk flower baskets looking
fresh and beautiful for many, many years!
